Willie Nelson's Luck Reunion was held yesterday (March 14) at the country music legend's ranch in Texas. At one point during the evening, Nelson performed “Rainbow Connection” with the Muppets behind the hit song, Kermit the Frog. See footage below.
Kermit the Frog released his iconic “Rainbow Connection” in 1979 and the track has been covered many times, including by Willie Nelson in 2001 Rainbow connection. Nelson also performed the song with Kacey Musgraves at the 2019 Country Music Association Awards.
