Which strain of Latin music is most influential? Vote now

Advertising signThe peer-voted Latin Power Players' Choice Award returns for 2024 and asks music industry members from all walks of life to honor the act they believe has had the most impact on the entire Latin genre in the past year.

Voting is open to everyone Billboard Pro members, existing and new, with one vote per member per round.

The Latin Power Players' Choice Award will also run together Advertising signThe annual Latin Power Players ranking of the most influential music industry executives in the genre, to be announced in September.

Advertising sign launched his first Player's Choice Award with the Power 100 list in January 2023, followed by the first Country Power Players' Choice Award which was completed in June and the opening R&B/Hip-Hop Power Players Choice Award in August and the first Latin Power Players' Choice Award in September, which was won by the founder/CEO of WK Entertainment Walter Kolm. In 2024, the peer-voted award was expanded to also cover international Power Players and Top Music Lawyers.

The first round of voting is now live, with an open call for nominations. The open call for nominations will close on August 7th at 11:59 PM ET.

The second round of voting will begin on August 8, in order to narrow the top 15 candidates down to the final top five candidates.

The third round of voting will begin on August 22 to select the winner from the final five nominees. Voting will end on September 4th at 11:59 PM ET.
