Caroline Polachek gave a special performance at the Musée de l'Orangerie in Paris on October 18th. In front of Claude Monet Water liliessang the beautiful closing song to Radiohead's A pool in the shape of the Moon“True love waits.” Watch her performance below.
“Thank you very much [Klaus Biesenbach] and [Olivier Berggruen] who invited me to perform a short program of songs on the occasion of the Museum Berggruen and Neue Nationalgalerie exhibition of the Heinz Berggruen Collection at the Musée de L'Orangerie for Art Basel Paris 2024,” wrote Polachek on Instagram. “I was thrilled to sing in that room, seeing those paintings IRL for the first time.”
“True Love Waits, like Water Lilies, has gone through decades of versions and distillations,” he continued, “through time, loss and persistence.”
