Victoria Monét has released a Christmas album featuring morphed instruments from her 2023 record. Jaguar II. On A Jaguar II Christmas: The Orchestral ArrangementsMonét, composer Maurice “Pirahnahead” Herd, and a live orchestra reworked songs like “Cadillac (A Pimp's Anthem)” on “Cadillac Christmas” and “Stop (Askin' Me 4Shyt)” on “Stop (Askin' Me 4Gifts ).” Listen to the new holiday album below.
It was a good year for Monet: Jaguar II won Best R&B Album at the 2024 Grammy Awards and also took home Best New Artist. She followed up her Grammy success with a new Usher collaboration, “SOS (Sex on Sight),” which eventually appeared on Jaguar II : Deluxe.
