UMG Nashville has teamed up with producer/artist/songwriter Timbaland's indie label Mosley Music, with the two companies exploring emerging talent and new musical discoveries.
“Over the past year, we've been working with Timbaland on the shared goal of developing great artists together as well as bridging the gaps in sound and culture in country music,” says UMGN president and CEO, Cindy Mabethrough announcement. “I am so happy to finally announce our partnership with Mosley Music following his prestigious induction into the Songwriters Hall of Fame. Timbaland is one of the most iconic producers, songwriters and artists of the past 30 years, merging genres and opening doors to magnify cultural impact across genres. Hailing from Norfolk, Virginia, Timbaland's reach and appeal have been felt across pop, hip-hop and country music, including collaborating and bridging sounds for artists such as Bubba Sparxxx, For King + Country and Brad Paisley. Timbaland continues to open doors by making innovative cultural impact by pushing boundaries, and I'm excited to join forces to break down barriers in country music.”

UMG Nashville is comprised of the Capitol Records Nashville, EMI Records Nashville, MCA Nashville and Mercury Nashville imprints, featuring artists such as Luke Bryan, Eric Church, Mickey Guyton, Alan Jackson, Carrie Underwood, Keith Urban and more. The label group recently added to its offerings, launching TV/film production company Sing Me Back Home Productions, Silver Wings Records and comedy division Capitol Comedy Nashville.
Mosley Music Group's roster includes Timbaland, One Republic and Carson Lueder. In 2017, Paisley collaborated with creatives including Timbaland on his album Love and War. In 2001, Bubba Sparxxx and Timbaland scored a No. 15 hit on the Billboard Hot 100 with “Ugly.”
