In one Chromaticity listening event in Los Angeles, Tyler connected the album's themes to the wisdom passed down from his mother, Rolling Stone exhibitions. “Now that I'm 33, it's all like, 'oh, that's the hell he was talking about,'” he said. “Oh, I'm not the guy I was in my 20s. I just wanted to write about things I think about when I do dolo's.”
Tyler will tour behind the album next year, with stops on three continents.
