It looks like TV on the Radio could be on the way back. The band posted a teaser image on their social media pages and updated their website for the first time in a long time. Little else is known at this time, so stay tuned.
TV on the Radio released their latest studio album, Seedsin November 2014, and their most recent concert was held at Madison Square Garden in March 2019. The band also hasn't toured seriously since 2018, when they played shows in the spring and summer, including a show in Brooklyn for the 10 his anniversary Dear Science.
In the dormant years of TV on Radio, frontman Tunde Adebimpe still has work to do musically and on screen. He recently appeared in the summer blockbuster Twistersand has also acted or voiced characters in Noah Baumbach's domestic drama Marriage historyHBO's Perry Masonthe cartoon series Tuca & Bertieand more.
Partner Kyp Malone also starred, starring alongside Josh Peck and others in 2021 Doors. He has also released several albums with John Dwyer, including Bent Arcana and Ritual / Custom / Ceremony.
The group's David Andrew Sitek remains a popular producer who has recently worked with Chelsea Wolfe, Weezer, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Run the Jewels and more. In 2020, he started a new band called Neverly Boys.
