Tributes from luminaries and industry executives are pouring in for the legendary producer, arranger and composer Quincy Joneswho died on Sunday (November 3) aged 91. A jazz sideman turned bandleader, record label executive, film composer, TV and film producer and, of course, popular music connoisseur as Michael Jackson's studio conductor, Jones A major artistic breakthrough during his seven-decade career—the his picture should be in the “multi-hyphenated” dictionary—he will be rightly praised by every corner of the entertainment world.
“Through his music and his endless love, Quincy Jones' heart will beat for eternity,” his family said after his death.
