Taylor Swift returned to Arrowhead Stadium on Thursday night (September 5) to watch boyfriend Travis Kelce at the Kansas City Chiefs home opener against the Baltimore Ravens.
All eyes were on what the pop superstar would wear to the game, after the Chiefs-branded 'suits' she wore last season routinely sold out after each of her endorsements. But she didn't wear any NFL merchandise on Thursday, instead opting for a denim corset top paired with daisies and deep red leather over-the-knee boots.
Swift became a fixture at Chiefs games last year, starting on September 24, 2023, when she attended Kansas City's home game against the Chicago Bears for the first time and seemingly confirmed that the rumors of her and Kelce's relationship were true. In an interview months later, she revealed that they had started dating last summer, long before she appeared in the game.
They came to every game that didn't conflict with her Eras tour dates after that, including when Kelce and the Chiefs won their second straight Super Bowl, closing the ring as Swift looked out at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas in February.
Now the Chiefs are looking for a Super Bowl threepeat, starting with Thursday's game against the Ravens.
For her part, Swift is on a break between the European leg and the second North American leg of her Eras tour, which will hit Canada for the first time when it kicks off in Toronto in November. She headlines nominations at next week's MTV Video Music Awards, which take place on Wednesday, September 11, at the UBS Arena in New York City.
