The Spanish Broadcasting System (SBS) has officially launched its first radio station in Texas called La Ley 92.1 FM.
The radio station's morning show – which starts at 5am local time – is hosted by a popular Mexican radio personality Raoul Bridiswho has over 30 years of on-air experience and promises to bring “a mix of laughter, music and true stories that resonate with listeners,” according to an official press release.
“As we expand our footprint in Texas, we are excited to bring the SBS legacy to Houston with the launch of La Ley 92.1,” he said. Raul Alarcon Jr.chairman, CEO and president of SBS, in the statement. “Houston's diverse and dynamic Hispanic community deserves a vibrant and hyperlocal station that not only offers great music but also reflects their culture, pride and traditions. With Raúl Brindis joining our team, we are confident that La Ley 92.1 will quickly become a listener favorite.”
Under the slogan “La Nueva Emisora Que Manda en Houston” (the new station that rules Houston), the station includes 50,000 songs without commercial breaks and features some of the biggest creators of Música Mexicana today, such as Carín León , Christian Nodal, Grupo Frontera, Peso Pluma, Banda MS, Julión Álvarez, Intocable and Los Ángeles Azules, to name a few.

La Ley 92.1 FM (KROI-FM HD1 Houston) joins other top US Spanish-language radio stations in New York, Los Angeles, Miami, Chicago, San Francisco, Orlando, Tampa and Puerto Rico.
