Kendrick Lamar just earned another accolade with his hit song “Alright” topping Spotify's Best Hip-Hop Songs of the Streaming Era list.

On Monday (May 20), Spotify revealed their list of 100 songs that dominated the streaming era with Kendrick Lamar's 2015 anthem “Alright” coming in at No. 1. Pharrell and Sounwave's production union, the which appears in To Pimp a Butterflyhas over 686 million streams on Spotify, 173 million views on YouTube and was a song that defined the 2010s, according to Advertising sign.
Kendrick Lamar's laudatory record, which boasted empowerment and affirmation in the Black community while also offering hope through positive affirmations, earned four Grammy nominations and took home two Grammys in 2016 for Best Rap Song and Best Rap Performance. To Pimp a Butterfly it also garnered attention from the Grammy Academy, receiving nods for Album of the Year and Best Rap Album, taking home the win for the latter.

Cardi B came in just behind K-Dot at No. 2 with her hit 'Bodak Yellow'. Amassing 890 million streams on Spotify, Bardi's career has seen a meteoric rise following the release of her song, which was also the lead single from her Grammy-winning debut album.
