Polo G is reportedly in jail after being arrested on gun charges in California over the weekend.
The Polo G was arrested again on a gun charge
On Monday (Oct. 21), TMZ first reported that Chicago rapper Polo G is behind bars after being booked in the Los Angeles area on Oct. 19. According to the celebrity news site, the arrest was made as a result of a traffic stop in San Fernando Valley, California for speeding. Police then discovered Polo had a loaded handgun in his car and he was arrested for felony possession of a concealed weapon. According to police records he obtained XXLPolo is in Valley Prison in Van Nuys, California. He was not granted bail.
XXL Polo G's team, his attorney and the Los Angeles Police Department have been contacted for comment.

Polo G's Other Disasters with the law
The Polo G has had several run-ins with the law in recent years. In June 2021, he was arrested in Miami for resisting arrest and assaulting a police officer. That September, he was arrested again in Los Angeles for carrying a concealed weapon.
Last August, police raided his Los Angeles home and charged him with gun possession after seven guns were reportedly found in his home. In April, Polo was arrested for gun possession again in New York. That arrest came after a member of the housekeeping staff at The Dominick Hotel in midtown Manhattan discovered a gun in the 25-year-old rapper's room and alerted the police. A case was filed against him for possession of a weapon and possession of a weapon.
Polo G released his latest album Hood Poet in August.
