Surviving members of The Pogues announce 40th anniversary UK tour of classic album Rum Sodomy & the Lash. Original members James Fearnley, Jem Finer and Spider Stacy will embark on the tour, aided by yet-to-be-announced guests, in their final run of dates following the death last year of Shane MacGowan.
Performances begin in Leeds in May 2025, before hitting Birmingham, London, Manchester and Newcastle upon Tyne. The band said in a statement, “After the raucous bash that was the 40th anniversary of our first record, Red roses for mein 2024, we wanted to do it again, but with Rum Sodomy & the Lash.”
