After years of remixes and singles, Blessed Madonna has announced her first solo studio album. The new album, Godspeed, out October 11 via Warner. Guests on the 24-track project include Kylie Minogue, Jamie Principle and Clementine Douglas. Listen to Blessed Madonna and DJ E-Clyps' new song 'Godspeed' below.
In a press release, the blessed Madonna stated: “Godspeed: The word marks the beginning of a journey and sometimes the end of one. After almost a year in lockdown, when I signed the papers and knew I would be allowed to make this album, I called my father in Kentucky to tell him the good news. He couldn't contain his pride and somehow his relief. I would be fine. He says it better than me at the beginning of the record. I lost him suddenly a few weeks before the first session, but his voice will live on Godspeed forever and make a million more trips to anyone who will listen.”
Blessed Madonna previewed Godspeed with the singles 'Serotonin Moonbeams', 'We Still Believe', 'Mercy', 'Carry Me Higher', 'Happier' and 'Count on My Love'. The new album follows Dua Lipa's 2020 remix album Blessed Madonna Club Future Nostalgia.
