From a VIP stage on the floor to seats in the rafters, there's no telling where Travis Kelce will catch Taylor Swift's Eras Tour shows whenever he attends. But when the show is over, you can count on him being a part: at his superstar girlfriend's side, lovingly escorting her off the premises.
It happened on Thursday (July 18) after the pop star's second show in Gelsenkirchen, Germany. Moments after her three-hour-plus showcase ended, fan cameras captured the Kansas City Chiefs exiting the backstage area with his arm lovingly around Swift's shoulders, who was held onto his back . The pair waved to the assembled fans with free hands before disappearing into the corridors of the Veltins-Arena.
Before dating the “Anti-Hero” singer, Kelce had enjoyed the show from a high-rise suite. The night before, he had watched from a similar spot in the venue, mimicking Swift's dance moves and proudly filming her as she sang “So High School,” the Department of Tormented Poets song widely believed to be about him.
The New Heights The host has been to more than a dozen Eras Tour concerts since she first came to one of her shows in Kansas City last summer. Before Swift's stops in Germany, she attended her concert in Amsterdam with Patrick and Brittany Mahomes, and made a surprise appearance on stage in London.
“I've seen the show so many times at this point, I'll be in the crowd doing the choreography,” he joked at a recent episode of his podcast.
However, his appearances on the shows may become less frequent as the Chiefs are set to return to practice later this month. Swift has one more concert planned for Gelsenkirchen before moving on to Hamburg and Munich. After wrapping up her European leg at the end of the summer, she'll return to the US and Canada for one final run before ending the Eras Tour for good in December.
