Supergrass have announced a tour to celebrate the 30th anniversary of their debut album, I Should Coco. The 10-date leg will take place across the UK next year and will mark the first time the British band will ever play the entire album live. See the full list of Supergrass tour dates below.
To announce the big news, Supergrass joined The Chris Moyles Show on Radio X, where they discussed the importance of the album and joked that they had to up their fitness plan to give fans the high-energy show they deserve. “It's a really special album for us,” said singer Gaz Coombes. “We thought why not celebrate this anniversary before we're all too old to play these songs because they're all really fast songs. And my voice is really high in everything.” Watch the full clip of their appearance below.
After forming in 1993 in Oxford, England, Supergrass released six studio albums during their initial run, beginning with I Should Coco. That LP went platinum, thanks, in part, to its smash single “Alright.” Supergrass disbanded in 2010 but reunited in 2019 for a handful of live shows over the next few years, including a set at the 2022 Taylor Hawkins tribute concert at Wembley Stadium.
