Shabaka recruited rapper Billy Woods for a new song called “Timepieces.” It serves as the opening song of the jazz musician Occupation EP, which features further contributions from Woods collaborator Armand Hammer, Elucid, Esperanza Spalding, South African jazz musician Nduduzo Makhathini, Brandee Younger, Carlos Niño and Jason Moran.
