Rakim has announced his first new full-length in nearly 15 years. Work, GOD's Network (Reb7rth)2009 follows The Seventh Seal, and will be released on July 26. Leading off the project is a new song featuring Kurupt and Masta Killa called “Be Ill.” Check out the track's new music video below (via Rolling rock).
Rakim, the Long Island rapper known for his iconic albums with DJ and producer Eric B., has taken over his own production for GOD's Network (Reb7rth). The project features guest spots from Snoop Dogg, Method Man, Kool G Rap, 38 Spesh, Joell Ortiz, BG and more. Notably, there are also several later artists on the project, namely Nipsey Hussle, DMX, Fred the Godson and Mobb Deep's Prodigy.
