Pulp have announced their signing to Rough Trade. “Rough Trade have managed Pulp for over 30 years so it's great to finally be on the label. We made it!” the Britpop band said in a statement.
Pulp reunited in 2022, after more than a decade apart, for a series of shows in England and Ireland. They've been performing new music live ever since, although the signing announcement makes no mention of new recordings. This year, Jarvis Cocker and the band played their first North American tour since 2012, which was dedicated to their late bassist Steve Mackey, who died in March 2023.
