Playboi Carti is known for a certain sound in his music, but his upcoming album might be a little different.
Playboi Carti and producer Cardo describe the sound of Carti's new album as “Burnt Music”
During Billboardd's recent interview with Playboi Carti, published yesterday (September 3), revealed that Carti, who has apparently been working on a lot of his upcoming I am Music The LP with producer Cardo, abandons an effort with a sound that has been described as “burnt music”. “We'll be in the studio, like, 'This music is burnt,'” Cardo explains. He also likened his audio albums to sounds from DJ Toomp, DJ Paul, Juicy J, The Legendary Traxster, also using John Carpenter's films as influences.

Playboi Carti Album Details So Far
Playboi Carti's long-awaited third album has been talked about since 2022. So much so that fans have been questioning Carti about the effort's release at every turn. The album was originally titled Musicas he said to XXL on the cover of Spring 2022. He also shared the expected themes on the album. “Love. Sex. Drugs,” Carty said. “Changes in my life. I've been rapping about going to rehab. I want to go to rehab because I think I'm bipolar. I want everybody to feel free. I want this album to make everybody feel free. I hope this album brings peace to people, I'm honestly in love with what I do.”
Playboi Carti's next album is said to be out by the end of the year. However, a confirmed date has not been shared yet. And while fans worry about whether or not I am Music it will arrive this year, Carty has promised the work.
