The 2024 Pitchfork Music Festival kicks off this Friday, July 19, in Chicago, and we're here to give you all the tips to have the best festival weekend possible. Here's what you need to know before you enjoy Alanis Morissette, Jamie xx, Black Pumas, Carly Rae Jepsen, Brittany Howard and more at Union Park.

Box Office Hours & Location
The box office is located on Ashland Avenue, just south of Lake Street. Regular checkout hours are: 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. from Friday July 19 to Sunday July 21. The box office will also be open the day before the festival (Thursday 18 July) from 3pm. until 8 p.m.
Arriving here
The festival does not provide parking for attendees, but there are several ways to get to Union Park. We encourage you to get here using one of the options below!
- Train: The Ashland stop on the Green and Pink lines is located just at the northwest corner of the park. There is an accessible entrance.
- Bus: Ashland Bus #9 runs north-south and stops at the west end of Union Park. Madison bus #20 runs east-west and stops just south of the park. It also runs direct services from Ogilvie Station and is a short walk from Union Station in the city centre.
- Bicycle parking: If you're heading to the festival on two wheels, check out our bike parking lot on the southwest corner of Randolph Street and Ada Street. This year, we've partnered with Working Bikes and Active Transportation to help provide you with further information and resources on bike transportation in our city.
Entering the Festival
Union Park is located at 1501 W. Randolph Street. Festival gates open daily at 12pm. The Main Gate and Box Office are located on Ashland Blvd., south of Lake Street, and Gate 2 is located on Washington Blvd./Ogden Ave. You will need your photo ID and a digital ticket to enter.
