NewJeans enlisted Pharrell Williams for a new song, “Supernatural.” Drawing from Williams' production on Manami's 2009 song “Back of My Mind,” the song features original composition and lyrics from the Neptunes man. It comes as part of a “double single album” that also includes “Right Now,” which comes with a Takashi Murakami-directed video and some remixes. Watch the “Supernatural” video below.
The new release comes with a clothing and accessories capsule designed by Hiroshi Fujiwara. Last month, the band released another four-track single called How Sweet, with the original compositions being the title track and “Bubble Gum.” NewJeans' breakout single 'Super Shy' was one of Pitchfork's '100 Best Songs of 2023'.
