Lionel Messi gets the documentary treatment. Messi World Cup: Rise of a Legenda four-part documentary chronicling the soccer star's triumphant career and overall impact on the game premieres Wednesday (February 21) on Apple TV+.
In his own words, the documentary chronicles Messi's “incredible career with the Argentina national football team, providing an intimate and unprecedented look at his quest for a decisive World Cup victory,” according to Apple TV.
The documentary, by Smuggler Entertainer, also features interviews with Messi's teammates, coaches, rivals and fans, as well as sports commentators.
