Maxwell made “Simply Beautiful” with producers Hod David and Shedrick Mitchell. “We had the best of the best come out to participate in the recording, from horns to strings to vocalists,” the singer noted in a press statement. “They sound amazing. This is truly magical.”
Starting next month, Maxwell will embark on the Serenade Tour with Jazmine Sullivan and in October in London. It has yet to follow in 2016 blackSUMMERS'night with the troubled Night.
