Kodak Black sued Plies for defamation of Donald Trump after an assassination attempt on the former president.
Kodak Black Warns Against Donald Trump's Slander
On Sunday (July 14), a short video surfaced of Kodak Black warning Plies about defaming Donald Trump following an assassination attempt on the former president. In the clip, which you can watch below, Yak revealed that a fan alerted him that Plies criticized Trump. For the 'ZeZe' rapper, that's a no in his book.
“This is not a Trump smear, bro,” Kodak said while on Instagram Live. “You need to get out of this s**t Plies.”
“Trump didn't do anything to you, you feel me?” asked. “You rich bruh, us rich.”
“Back off, lover, 'cause he might go mobster, boy,” he warned.
Plies criticizes Donald Trump and some of the backlash he's seeing online following the harrowing incident in which Trump survived a shooting at his Pennsylvania rally on Saturday (July 13). The “Shawty” rapper has yet to respond to Kodak's statements.

Kodak is proudly voting for Trump for President
It should come as no shock that Kodak Black is defending Donald Trump against his critics. The South Florida native has been indebted to the former president since he was pardoned in 2021 while serving a four-year sentence on a federal weapons charge.
In March 2024, when a reporter asked him if he was voting for Trump in the upcoming November presidential election, Kodak said, “Of course,” without hesitation. He even suggested that if Trump becomes President, he should stay in office for another 20 years.
“We should have had Donald Trump for about 20 years, like how they do the Russians and all that,” Yak explained in the video below. “Four years is not enough for a president.”
As the video shows, Kodak is very loyal to Trump.
