Fans are still enjoying Kendrick Lamar's new surprise GNX album and some interesting theories have emerged about the LP. One in particular revolves around the censored lyrics of the song “Wacced Out Murals”.
Fans are trying to figure out the missing lyrics to “Wacked Out Murals.”
K-Dot took the internet by storm after dropping his new LP without warning on November 22nd. One song that has people talking is the intro track “Wacced Out Murals,” the title of which seems to refer to the many Kendrick Lamar murals that have been vandalized over the past few months. On the track, Kendrick addresses Lil Wayne's Super Bowl controversy, Snoop Dogg posting Drake's “Taylor Made Freestyle” diss on social media, and more. There are several lines in the song that are censored, leaving internet geeks to come up with some interesting theories about what the Compton, California rapper might actually be saying.
In addition to the lines in the song that have been emptied, there is almost an entire bar reworked. “I appreciated tribute and I always mind my work/I made it…” Kendrick raps, leaving a blank space where the rest of the verse should be. “I never lost who I am for a rap icon,” he continues afterwards.
A second censored part in the song appears to be a name. “Curses for [blank] you're all on trial,” Dot spits.
Fans have tried their best on social media to find the missing lines and have speculated on everything from J. Cole's name, Drake dig, Young Thug and Diddy and more .
