Kendrick Lamar's surprise new album, GNXdebuted atop the Billboard 200. It sold 319,000 equivalent albums, Bulletin board reports via Luminate. GNX is now the rapper's fourth consecutive studio album to debut at No. 1, following Mr. Morale & the Big Steppers, Dime.and To Pimp a Butterfly. of Lamar Untitled Unmastered. and Black Panther: The Album also debuted at the top of the charts.
Lamar was released GNX on November 22. He made the album with Sounwave producers Jack Antonoff, Kamasi Washington and others. He also followed the LP's release with a music video for the standout song “Squabble Up”.
