Julien Baker has announced a solo tour to take place later this fall. Beginning with three nights at Thalia Hall in Chicago, Baker will perform in Washington, DC, Toronto, San Francisco, Los Angeles and London. Along the way, he'll also play the All Things Go Music Festival. Check out her full list of tour dates below.
After the release of her third album, Little Oblivions, in 2021, Baker continued to appear on several late-night television shows. This record included a mini-reunion with Boygenius of the band Lucy Dacus and Phoebe Bridgers on the song “Favor”. Baker then followed it up with 2022 B-Sides EP and the song “Milkman of Human Kindness” for the benefit collection Through the Ground II.
Last year, Baker, Bridgers and Dacus reunited as Boygenius for their debut album, The Record, and toured extensively behind it, including a sold-out concert at Madison Square Garden. Boygenius won Best Alternative Music Album The Record at the 2024 Grammy Awards, as well as Best Rock Song and Best Rock Performance for “Not Strong Enough.” That same night, the trio told former Grammys CEO Neil Portnow to “rot in the hole.” In February, Boygenius announced that they would be going on hiatus.
