Swifties are scrambling to snag last-minute tickets as Taylor Swift's Eras Tour heads to Vancouver tonight (December 6) – but resellers are beating them.
With demand skyrocketing for the final shows of her hugely popular Eras Tour, Taylor Swift has released a batch of unique “no-view” tickets (which give fans a view of the screens next to the stage but not the stage itself) for the upcoming three Vancouver dates this week for just $16.50 per ticket.
As Swifties flocked to Ticketmaster to wait in long lines for a chance to hear (but not see) their favorite star, resellers snapped up the cheap tickets.
Before they knew it, the Ticketmaster slump was over, and many of the “no-show” tickets were now on StubHub — for thousands of dollars, fans posted on social media.
A few lucky fans managed to win the no-show tickets. But the huge resale markups of the $16.50 tickets are yet another indicator of how difficult it is for true Taylor Swift fans to get into the Eras Tour.
Many fans have gone through several rounds of trying to secure tickets through Ticketmaster or ticket giveaways, spending hours waiting in lines and searching social media for ticket tips.
Meanwhile, Vancouver is gearing up for the age of Taylor Swift by changing a local sign to read: Swiftcouver.
The Eras Tour concludes in Vancouver with three shows December 6-8, 2024.

Kendrick Lamar's “GNX” Debuts at No. 1 on the Billboard Canadian Albums Chart
Kendrick Lamar claimed a new No. 1 album in the homeland of his biggest rival.
GNX, K-Dot's surprise sixth studio release, lands at number one on the Billboard Canadian Albums chart, dated December 7th.
But unlike in the US, Lamar failed to reach No. 1 on the Canadian Hot 100.
Gracie Abrams holds her own with “That's So True” for a second week as her Eras Tour (where she's opening for Taylor Swift) hits Vancouver this week from December 6-8.
However, Kendrick Lamar is still well represented atop the Canadian Hot 100. His slick slow jam 'Luther' featuring SZA is at No. 2 and 'Squabble Up' – which claimed No. 1 place south of the border – located at No. 3.
Shaboozey's “A Bar Song (Tipsy),” meanwhile, falls to No. 5, indicating that his record streak may actually be complete.
Those are strong numbers for Kendrick Lamar in Drake's home country, even if the Compton rapper hasn't hit the same heights in the US yet.
Lamar will get his GNX on the road next year on the Grand National Tour, with two Canadian dates in Drake's hometown at Rogers Center Stadium on June 12 and 13 with SZA.

Les Cowboys Fringants, Charlotte Cardin Most Streamed Québécois Artists on Spotify in Canada in 2024
As individual Spotify Wrapped graphics take over social media feeds, the streaming giant has shared some insightful Canadian Wrapped data.
Spotify shared the top Québécois artists streamed in Canada, with rock band Les Cowboys Fringants taking the top spot, followed by Charlotte Cardin and Céline Dion.
Les Cowboys have been very active this year following the death of frontman Karl Tremblay in 2023 and an outpouring of support from Quebec fans showing their huge influence in the province. The new full body Royal Pub debuted at No. 3 on the Canadian album chart. The band also won big at the ADISQ Awards, picking up wins for Writer or Composer of the Year and Song of the Year.
Charlotte Cardin at No. 2 is no surprise given the pop singer-songwriter's international breakout after 2023 99 Nights. Cardin won this year's first Billboard Canada Women in Music Woman of the Year award.
Celine had a huge flow moment after her comeback performance at the Paris Olympics, with her own catalog as well as Edith Piaf's. Her documentary soundtrack I Am: Celine Dion also entered the Canadian Albums chart, bringing back some of her immortal hits.
