Singer and multi-instrumentalist Nicole Miglis of Hundred Waters has announced her debut solo album. Myopia is out August 23rd via Sargent House, and you can listen to a new song, “Autograph,” now. It comes with a music video in which two versions of Migli dine together in a trendy restaurant. As the video continues, it is revealed that Miglis also works as a waitress, chef and artist. “There's the myopia of desire, of love, of obsession — the sense of being able to see only one person in everything, everywhere,” Miglis said of her new song. “There's also a personal myopia of not seeing your potential or your power, not shrinking. limiting beliefs'.
“Autograph” is technically the second single it comes from Myopia, following last month's “All I See Is You.” Miglis recorded most of the album in a portable setup while on the road, creating songs and stories in real time as she experienced them. While it's her first full-length LP under her own name, she shared it Un1ty Flutein 2021, under the name Batry Powr.
