Taraji P. Henson returns to host this year's BET Awards, which will be held at the Peacock Theatre.
“I'm thrilled to be returning as host of the 'BET Awards' for a third time. I also look forward to celebrating my peers and our culture's impact on entertainment,” Henson said in a statement.
Performers include Megan Thee Stallion and Will Smith.
Drake leads this year's nominees list with seven nominations. Following closely behind the Toronto rapper, Nicki Minaj earned six nominations, while J. Cole, Sexyy Red, SZA and Monet earned five nominations each.
Beyoncé, 21 Savage, Doja Cat and Megan Thee Stallion are tied with four nods each.
