Eminem will have a role in Adam Sandler's upcoming film Happy Gilmore 2 film.
Eminem will perform Happy Gilmore 2
On December 6, actor Adam Sandler was a guest The Dan Patrick Show, where Sandler talked about the highly anticipated sequel to the 1996 cult classic golf film Happy Gilmore. During the speech, Sandler revealed that Eminem will appear in the film.
“Eminem was cool,” Sandler says at the 2:33 mark of the interview below. “He came through and he was great.”
When pressed for more details about Shady's role, Sandler adds, “I can't tell you all that. But I've known Eminem for a long time, and he's a great guy. And he came and he was funny as hell. I think Just he hung out one day with Eminem He just shot and shot and it was crazy. [He] we said a million things we can use and a million things we're glad we have on tape.”
Retired golfer Jack Nicklaus is also expected to star in the film. According to Sandler, HG2 is scheduled to be released on Netflix next July. It wouldn't be the first time Sandler and Eminem have collaborated on a film. Slim made a cameo in the film Funny people starring Sandler, Seth Rogan, Jonah Hill and Leslie Mann in 2009.
In other recent Eminem news, the rapper is currently mourning the loss of his mother Debbie, who passed away after a battle with lung cancer at the age of 69 last week.
