Drake recently poked fun at himself in his latest Instagram Story post. The Canadian rap superstar shared a funny video of a Drake impersonator and quoted one of Kendrick Lamar's memorable lines from “Not Like Us.”
Drake Shares Drizzy Impersonator Video, Quotes K-Dot
On Saturday (July 27), Drake took to his Instagram Story and reposted a funny video of a Drizzy impersonator and quoted one of Kendrick Lamar's lyrics from Drake's record track, “Not Like Us.”
In the clip below, the rather stocky Drake impersonator performs “Hotline Bling” at a boxing gym in New York. The OVO impersonator does a pretty good job mimicking Drizzy's moves, including the footwork he did in the song's music video.
The video was shot by popular social media filmmaker @newyorknico, who joked in the caption: “@champagnepapi did a surprise performance at a boxing gym tonight for @dreambabypress.”
Drake's impersonator is @johndour25 on Instagram and appears to be doing concerts as a Drake impersonator.
Drake caught wind of the video and reposted the clip along with the caption, “Sometimes you gotta pop out,” which is a line from K-Dot's “Not Like Us.”

Check out Drake, Lil Durk and DJ Khaled Doppelgängers
In 2021, there was another Drake impersonator who claimed to be making $5,000 per gig as a fake Drizzy. The man, formerly known as IzzyDrake, once tricked tourists in Miami into thinking he was the real Toronto rapper.
But Drake isn't the only hip-hop artist with an out-of-touch look. Both DJ Khaled and Lil Durk have real-life doppelgängers. See them below.
