Calling all Descendants fans! by Disney Descendants: The Rise of Red, is the fourth film in this franchise that launches today Friday (July 12) on Disney+. It is also scheduled to air on Disney Channel on August 9 at 8 p.m. ET.
In this iteration of the story, Uma (played by China Anne McClain), who was once a bad kid is now the principal of Auradon Prep. He invites Red (played by Kylie Cantrall), who is the rebellious daughter of the Queen of Hearts (played by Rita Ora), to the school. When Red's mom starts a rebellion against Auradon, Red teams up with Chloe (played by Malia Baker), Cinderella's daughter. The story unfolds as they return to stop past events that turned Red's mom into a villain.
