Today, Advertising sign, in collaboration with Honda, has announced the release of a new song by Grammy-nominated Davido and internationally acclaimed singer Lila Iké titled “Flex My Soul”. The release celebrates 5 years of Billboard and Honda's collaboration on Honda Stage, the music platform that offers unique storytelling behind the music and celebrates the journeys of established and emerging artists.
In cooperation with Advertising sign, Honda Stage provides up-and-coming and established artists with a platform to share their stories and connect with music fans through documentary-style video content. The latest, 'Flex My Soul', is inspired by living in the moment, chasing your dreams and recognizing life's blessings.
Davido is a Nigerian singer, songwriter and record producer who is considered one of the most important Afrobeat artists of the 21st century. Lila Iké is a Jamaican-born singer known for her distinctive delivery, old-school sensibilities and contemporary riffs with her unique fusion of modern reggae with elements of soul, hip-hop and dancehall.
“The first time I heard this song and heard what Davido had to say, I was inspired to speak out,” said Lila Iké. “To me, the song is about being happy, living your dream and being positive while celebrating life with people you care about. I decided to continue on this wavelength of feeling blessed, driven and in a celebratory spirit for all the blessings that have manifested in my life.”
The Honda Stage celebrates music stars on the brink of global fame. Each Honda Stage featured artist has a unique story based on their dreams of making it in the industry and their determination to make their dreams come true.
