Independent talent agency 33 & West has hired veteran music agent Christianne Weiss to support the agency's expansion. As part of her multi-year deal with 33 & West, Weiss brings multi-platinum, Grammy-nominated artist Starship to the label's artist roster, with more to be announced in the coming weeks.
Prior to 33 & West, Weiss was responsible for the tour management of well-known artists from Smokey Robinson, Frankie Valli and Boney James to Nile Rogers and Eddie Money. She spent 16 years at APA, first as an agent in the concert department in 2007 and later promoted to Head of Adult Contemporary for APA in 2018. Weiss also briefly served as SVP and head of tours at Day After Day in 2023. Weiss began her career as an agent at ICM in New York.
“Christianne's experience and talent as an agent are a perfect fit for our office's vibrant culture. She is a passionate agent with an excellent reputation and truly cares about the artists she represents. She understands the vision and philosophies of our agency and we are very excited to have her on our team,” said 33 & West co-founder Dan Rozenblum.
33 & West co-founder Matt Pike added, “We're always looking to add talent to our company that pushes us forward,” while Weiss noted that the company's past success “allows us to operate like a master and provide our customers the possibility to fulfill all their passions”.
Weiss' hiring follows West's recent additions of agent Daniel McCartney and tour marketing Brandon Frankel.
