It's the Minions collaboration that BTS fans have been waiting for, and perhaps the cutest BTS collaboration ever. Funko is releasing a collectible set inspired by The despicable me 4all seven BTS members transform into adorable Minions.
The exclusive seven-pack includes Pop! releases by RM, Jin, SUGA, J-Hope, Jimin, V and Jung Kook. And yes, they wear the signature Minion glasses, but no overalls. BTS Minions are decked out in outfits inspired by the 2021 Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 hit by K-pop group “Permission to Dance”.

The collector's set retails for $99 and became available for pre-order on Entertainment Earth on June 21st. Unfortunately, pre-orders are sold out, but the set is currently available on eBay. The Funko Pop! The release is part of a larger collaboration between Illumination, Universal and BTS' label Big Hit, which includes a limited collection of t-shirts, hoodies, sweatshirts, bags and more priced from $30-$60. The merchandise collection is available on the WeVerse store in the US from June 19th to July 1st.
Fans can also shop the collection of clothing and accessories at retail pop-ups in Seoul and Tokyo (the Los Angeles pop-up ended on July 3). In addition, BTS x The despicable me 4 The collection will soon be available at Nordstrom and Urban Outfitters stores and online.
The BTS x The despicable me 4 The collaboration celebrates Poppy Prescott, a new character from the film identified as BTS Army. Fans were quick to spot clues that Poppy was a BTS fan in a clip from the film.
BTS teased it first The despicable me 4 collaboration last week on social media.
The collaboration comes as Jimin announced his second solo album, Museand Jin completes 18 months of mandatory military service on June 11.
The despicable me 4 hits theaters Wednesday, July 3.
