The cameras roll back for Quiet on set. A fifth episode of the hit documentaries will air on ID and air on Max on Sunday (April 7).
Quiet on Set: Breaking the Silence will feature interviews with former Nickelodeon stars Drake Bell, Giovonnie Samuels, Bryan Hearne and Hearne's mother, Tracey Brown, the cable network announced March 26.
Journalist Soledad O'Brien will moderate the episode, Variety References.
Breaking the Silence will dig “deep into the critical conversations the documentaries ignited and explore the lingering questions they left in their wake to provide further insights from the brave voices who have spoken before and those who are coming forward again,” Jason Sarlanis, president of TNT , TBS, TruTV, ID & HLN, said in a statement Tuesday, per The Hollywood Reporter.
Investigation Discovery will air again Quiet on set on the Sunday before the final episode, but if you don't feel like waiting, you can stream the documentaries on Max before the new episode comes out next month.
According to a press release from ID, the docu-series offers “unprecedented access to key cast members, writers and crew spanning Schneider's popular series on Nickelodeon,” including All these cast members Giovanni Samuels, Kyle Sullivan, Brian Hearn, Katrina Johnson and director Virgil Fabian, The Amanda Show writers Jenny Kilgen and Christy Stratton, Alexa Nikolas by Zoey 101 in addition to the cast and crew from iCarly, Sam & Cat, Victorious and other Nickelodeon icons like former host Marc Summers Double Dare.
The documentary, which premiered March 17 and 18, explores several shows created by Snyder, who has since denied the allegations made against him in the documentary, including sexualizing children and fostering a toxic work environment.
“Everything that happened on the shows Dan ran was carefully reviewed by dozens of involved adults and approved by the network,” a Schneider spokesperson said in a statement to Variety. “If there was a real problem with the scenes that some people, now years later, are 'sexualising', they would be removed, but they are not, they are constantly broadcast around the world today, enjoyed by children and parents alike.”
Snyder also sat down for an interview published by The Hollywood Reporter.
Quiet on set premiered as a four-part documentary aimed at exposing the “toxic and dangerous culture” and alleged abuse on the sets of several of Nickelodeon's hit series. Clips from the documentaries continue to go viral all over TikTok and have been watched by a record 16 million viewers Quiet on set in ID and Max after its premiere.
Bell, from the Nickelodeon series Drake & Josh, The Amanda Show and All these, appears in the third episode of the documentary. In the documentary, Bell accuses former Nickelodeon acting and dialogue coach Brian Peck of sexual abuse.
In August 2003, Peck was arrested on charges of sexual abuse, including indecency with a child. The victim was one of the children Peck coached and was abused at his home for more than six months, according to the LAPD. Peck was sentenced to 16 months for child molestation and ordered to register as a sex offender.
Clips from the documentary, including Bell's story, have received millions of views on TikTok.
“My name is Drake Bell and I came here to tell my story. I've never told my story publicly,” Bell states in the documentary.
It's quiet on set directed by Mary Robertson and Emma Schwartz. The series is produced by Maxine Productions and Sony Pictures Television.
