Bon Jovi's new studio album Forever enters No. 1 on Advertising signChart of top album sales (dated June 22), with 50,000 copies sold in the US in the week ending June 13, according to Luminate. Of that figure, vinyl sales accounted for 9,000 copies – the band's biggest vinyl week since Luminate began tracking sales in 1991.
Also debuting in the top 10 of the new Top Albums chart are the latest albums from Charli XCX, Meghan Trainor and NxWorries.

The history of the chart dates back to May 25, 1991, the first week Advertising sign began charting electronically tracked track count information from SoundScan, now Luminate. Net album sales was the sole metric used by the Billboard 200 album chart through the list dated December 6, 2014, after which that chart changed to a methodology that combines album sales with track-equivalent album units and album-equivalent units flow. The new chart dated June 22, 2024 will be posted in full on Advertising signon the user's website on June 18. At No. 2 on the top selling albums, Charli XCX's new Brat bows with 45,000 copies sold – the singer-songwriter's biggest sales week to date.
The album's first week sales were supported by its availability on 14 vinyl variants (mostly color variants, two were issued in deluxe editions containing collectible paper ephemera, one of which also housed a bonus 7-inch vinyl), which added up to and 34,000 copies sold on vinyl – Charli XCX's biggest week on vinyl. The set was also released as a standard CD, a signed CD, and a deluxe boxed set containing a branded t-shirt and a CD. On June 10, the album was reissued as a deluxe digital download and streaming album with three bonus tracks.
The top of ATEEZ Golden Hour: Part 1 falls 1-3 in second week on Top Albums (43,000, down 66%), Taylor Swift's former No. 1 Department of Tormented Poets falls 2-4 (23,000, down 13%) and Billie Eilish's Hit with hard and soft slips 3-5 (20,000, down 18%).
Meghan Trainor is putting together her biggest sales week since 2016, as well Eternal starts at No. 6 with 15,000 sales. Of that amount, 4,000 were on vinyl – Trainor's best week on vinyl ever. The album's total sales were supported by 11 vinyl variants (including a signed edition), five CD variants (including two signed editions and a Target Exclusive with a bonus track), a standard digital download album, a deluxe edition with a bonus track, and two more deluxe editions (one with bonus “speed up” mixes and one with bonus “slow down” mixes).
Superduo NxWorries (featuring Anderson .Paak and Knxwledge) previews their new album Why Lawd? debuted at No. 7 with 11,000 sold (best sales week ever) – solely from sales of its physical formats. It was released on June 7th on CD, vinyl and cassette, then arrived on digital retail and streaming services a week later on June 14th. The album was initially available on five vinyl variants, one CD and one cassette. Vinyl sales totaled 9,000 from Why Lawd?'s first-week – the act's best week on vinyl.
Rounding out the top 10 of the new top album sales chart: Chappell Roan's The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess rally 17-8 with 8,000 sales (album's best week, up 87% — rise follows strong performance at Governor's Ball), ex-Twenty One Pilots leader Clancy falls 5-9 (nearly 8,000, down 32%) and The Marias' Submarine slips 4-10 (7,000, down 58%).
