As BG and Turk's beef heats up, Gizzle claims that Turk won't be missed if he's left out of the Hot Boys reunion.
BG Shades Turk While Talking Potential Hot Boys Reunion
BG is back out after recently getting a positive decision in his ongoing legal drama. On Tuesday (July 9), the No Rap Cap Podcast aired the latest episode of their show with the New Orleans rapper. During the pod, Gizzle was asked about the recently announced Hot Boys reunion and if it could be a true reunion without Turk who apparently won't be participating.
“If you tried to do a reunion without Weezy, it wouldn't work,” BG said at the 21:27 mark of the interview below. “If you tried to do a reunion without Juvie, it wouldn't work. If you tried to do a reunion without me, it wouldn't work. But come on, man. n*gga like Michelle [Willliams] or LeToya Luckett of the group, man,” he added, giving away the names of Destiny's Child members.
“If muthaf**kin Beyoncé and muthaf**kin Kelly [Rowland] have a Destiny's Child reunion and Michelle isn't there, no one will miss her like that. That's exactly what it is,” he added.

BG and Turk Trade Shots
Turk has seemingly been at odds with his former bandmates since he was released from prison in 2012 and recently accused them of turning their backs on him. BG's recent statements come after he appeared at the Essence 2024 festival in New Orleans alongside Birdman, Juvenile and Mannie Fresh in a mini-reunion. Wayne was also on the bill, but performed separately.
After the show, BG revealed why Turk wasn't part of the show in an Instagram Live video.
“It's just a ni**a ain't in that b**ch,” BG said on Instagram Live, apparently referring to Turk's absence. “He brought it on himself. Ni**a made a bunch of characters and he can't take it back. He has to blame himself for not being here. I know there's going to be a lot of people like, 'Oh, well, so-and-so, oops de woo. Ni**a knows what he did last summer and I'll leave it at that.”
Turk responded to the video with his own post.
“You don't want to make out because you didn't feel like it,” Turk said in the video shared on social media. “I'm not indifferent. I'm blessed and greatly favored by God. You got me excited. To set the record straight on this, I'm going to say f**ka Hot Boys tour, ni**a will not be tolerated, ni**a don't give a ni**a, man. BG better sit down somewhere, man, don't run here, not with me.
Juvenile has confirmed that a Hot Boy reunion album is in the works for May. Lil Wayne seemed genuinely surprised when asked about the project back in June, but said he'd be down to be a part of it. The group, originally consisting of Wayne, Juvie, Turk and BG, have released three albums but have not released a project since 2003. Let them burn.
