A man at Morgan Wallen's concert at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City was charged with a felony on Friday night (August 2) after he threatened on social media to shoot “two people, members of the Kansas City Chiefs organization” who were in attendance at the event , according to the Jackson County Prosecutor's Office in Missouri. Chiefs players Travis Kelce, Patrick Mahomes and Chris Jones were spotted at Arrowhead with Wallen shortly before the country singer took the stage that night.
The statement, which referred to the felony as a “terroristic threat,” was released Saturday by Michael Mansur, director of communications, on behalf of Jackson County District Attorney Jean Peters Baker.

Court records show that Aaron Brown of Winchester, Illinois, was charged with a Class E felony count of making a terroristic threat in the second degree, stating that “the defendant knowingly caused a false belief or fear that a situation involving danger existed for life by posting on X (formerly Twitter) that he was going to shoot [names redacted].”
In court documents, the defendant is quoted as saying, “It was a stupid, stupid, stupid mistake.” He claimed he had never made threats on social media before and again stated it “was stupid”. His girlfriend told investigators the alleged threat was posted and then deleted on a “burner” account where he was “tweeting stupid stuff.”
“The defendant was arraigned earlier today and bail was set at $15,000. Prosecutors requested a $250,000 cash bail,” according to the DA's office.
Wallen's concert on Friday, the second night of his One Night at a Time tour at Arrowhead Stadium, was delayed 40 minutes while the suspect was located and arrested by law enforcement.
The country singer eventually made his entrance on the show alongside the Chiefs' Kelce, Mahomes and Jones, who appeared to fire up the crowd in the video clip below. Wallen hugged all three before starting his set, and Kelce was later spotted singing with him One thing at a time“Last Night” from his suite. (Taylor Swift, who is linked to Kelce, was not in attendance; still on the European leg of The Eras tour, she played in Warsaw, Poland, on Friday and Saturday.)
