Danish Chilean artist Molina's debut album, When you wake upit moves smoothly between overlaid samples, arpeggiated synths bordering on Broadcast and woolly guitar riffs. The producer used new instruments such as guitar and bass to further expand her horizons. “I was hoping this would create some immediate and unintended material that I had no control over,” Molina said in a press release, “which, for me, is present.” The impressive LP also features guest appearances from her electro-pop musician and fellow Dane ML Buch, as well as artist GB.
