Travis Scott made a surprise guest appearance to bring the fury and nearly blow the roof off Brooklyn's Barclays Center.
Future and Metro Boomin wrapped up the We Don't Trust You Tour with a three-peat on Thursday night (August 15), and the Atlanta rapper-producer duo saved the best for last in Brooklyn after back-to-back shows in Boston and Philadelphia earlier this week.
THE We Don't Trust You Tour raced to New York City to invade BK's Barclays Center for the 12th of 27 shows scheduled for the North American trek.
Metro started the party around 9:30pm. ET with a solo set, and then Future belted out his own string of hits from his decorated discography before reuniting for the stretch run to bring the show across the finish line.
There were plenty of surprises in Brooklyn – one being some brave fans who brought Drake's OVO badge and Drizzy's tour merchandise to the show. Another came when an artist showcase in New York erupted amid set changes, headlined by cameos from A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, Cash Cobain and Fivio Foreign.
The coronavirus shock of the night took place near the end of the concert, when “Type Shit” collaborator Travis Scott came out to bring the rage to Barclays, sending the Brooklyn crowd into an absolute frenzy.
Between La Flame's guest appearance and “Like That,” Metro and Future tried to calm the sugar rush and euphoria high the crowd was on. We Still Don't Trust You opening piece by piece until their final offering before closing the curtain around 11:15pm ET.
After leaving planet Pluto with syrupy rhymes and Metro Boomin's hats, check out our seven best moments from the show below.

IMAX Movie Theater Visuals
Metro Boomin and Future spared no expense with their remarkable IMAX cinema screen visuals. For those not close enough to the scene, fans still get an HD look at the rapper-producer duo's designer wardrobe. The visuals also added to the aesthetic of the stage as they switched behind Metro during his set in a dark cave and started pouring some purple liquor. Between the jumbotron screen and fireworks, Metro and Future take their stage presence seriously while elevating their own craft.

Metro Boomin's set serves as a reminder of his production greatness
Metro Boomin topped the Billboard 200 earlier this year with his pair of joint albums with Future, but he's taking his solo set to remind fans just how long he's been at it as a hit. From Migos' “Bad and Boujee” to 21 Savage's “Bank Account” and even iLoveMakonnen's “Tuesday,” Metro's versatility was on full display. Drake's only inclusion happened to be Certified Lover Boy's “Knife Talk”, which saw Metro play only Project Pat's verse. It's a shame – because of their feud – all of it What a time to be alive hymns are nowhere to be found.

A New York exhibition with special guests
Before returning to the stage for their joint set, Metro and Future took a breather to let some of their own New York elements shine through. It was a rapid fire of special guests from the Big Apple with Lola Brooke, Sleepy Hallow, Sheff G, Bay Swag, Cash Cobain and Fivio Foreign.

A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie Invades The Concrete 'Jungle'
A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie loves New York and New York loves him back. The Bronx native moves the needle as a pop from the audience meant for superstars rang out throughout the Barclays Center when A Boogie appeared to close the New York special guests' set with his multi-platinum favorite 'Jungle' from fans in 2016. The 28-year-old hosted his first New York show at Madison Square Garden in June, and there's clearly appetite for another one in the Big Apple.

“March Madness” is still the one
It sure isn't March, but the madness is here. Even nine years after landing as part of Future's 56 Nights Released in 2015, “March Madness” mixtape remains sonically fresh and causes mayhem with fans spilling their drinks while singing every last word of Future's questionable drug-fueled decisions over the Tarentino-produced anthem. It's crammed in the middle of Pluto's solo set, but a testament to how deep Future's catalog and bag of hits really is.

The Freebandz x YSL bond will never be broken. Future took time during his set to greet Thug and support him Super Slimey the partner's fight for freedom as he remains behind bars. “We must free my brother,” Pluto said before they carried out their polygamy BEAUTIFUL TUGER GIRLS collaboration “Relationship”.

Travis Scott brings the rage to Brooklyn
Travis Scott is the king of his rap generation and heavy is the crown. Fans went ballistic when they realized that La Flame's AutoTuned vocals on “Type Shit” actually came from his live mic and not a recording. Any regular concert becomes a unique experience when Scott's energy radiates throughout the venue and his performance created an unforgettable night for the Brooklyn faithful. The Houston native made the Barclays Center crowd shut down the stage as he performed the mosh pit rage of “FE!N” to close out his cameo. It's just a taste of what's to come for the Tri-State area when Scott returns for a show at Metlife Stadium in October.
